Storytelling with Alisa

Join Alisa on this exciting journey as she reads Salsa by Lillian Colon-Vilas. The characters in the book come to life through music, dancing, percussion and language. This program is best for preschools, children's museums, Head Start and daycare programs.

Books to Ballroom

Elementary and middle school children are the focus of this program. Books to Ballroom (BTB) provides an atmosphere of learning through the art of expressive dance. In BTB, students learn dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Salsa, Merengue and Cha-Cha, while at the same time exploring health, nutrition, social/life skills, global perspectives, diversity, language, culture, mathematics, and long-term goals/benefits.

Children undergo a process of maturity while participating in BTB and have shown improvement in areas such as, self esteem, poise, respect and communication.
