Creating Diversity Through The Language of Latin Dance
Students will experience a day filled with dancing, Hispanic heritage, language, physical education and fun. Alisa will travel to your School or plan a “field trip” for your staff and students to visit our New Haven location. Each year, thousands of students are introduced to this program, and given the opportunity to become participants. Students throughout the State Of Connecticut, spend an afternoon with Alisa’s House Of Salsa learning various forms of Latin Dancing, language, and Hispanic History.

Stroytelling with Alisa
Join Alisa on this exciting jurney as she reads Author Lillian Colon-Vilas, Children's Book "Salsa". The Characters in the book come to life through Music, Dancing, Percussion and Language. We have had the privilege to introduce this program to Pre-schools, Children's Museums, Head-Start and Daycare Programs throughout the Northeast.

Books to Ballroom
Elementary/Middle School Children are the focus of this Program. BTB provides an atmosphere of learning through the art of expressive dance. Students learn Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Salsa, Merengue and Cha-Cha. BTB explores Health, Nutrition, Social/Life Skills, Global Perspectives, Diversity, Language, Culture, Mathematics, and Long term Goals/Benefits.
Children undergo a process of maturity while participating in the Books to Ballroom Program. The noted improvement of students in pertinent in areas such as, self esteem, poise, respect and communication.
